Homewood Suites by Hilton Dulles-North/Loudoun

I'm not sure why there are negative reviews about this hotel. I can only share my 2 day stay here and it was very nice. Any staff I interacted with were pleasant and friendly. Check in was easy. The lobby and halls and elevator were very clean and refreshed. My studio room (302)was clean and had everything you needed. Yes, there were some minor maintenance issues and scuffs on the furniture and walls but far from bothersome. My only minor complaint was it was time for new bedding. The duvet coverlette thing had a lot of pulls and strings hanging from it and the mattress was not terrible, just not the most comfortable. The parking fee is annoying. I was told it would be refunded but it was not. I could maybe understand if the property was in a congested area, but it's kind of in the middle of nowhere. I've never had to pay for parking as a guest of a hotel. All in all, a very nice stay. Oh, also, maybe think about keeping coffee available after 10am.

Upon arrival the parking lot is super dark. There's no one at the front desk. You have to proceed to the Embassy Suites/conjoined hotel to find help. There, a solo clerk is working both desks so you walk back to Homewood to check in. Not sure if this hotel is just starting out but it's bare compared to the joint hotel. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Almost like a one bedroom apartment equipped with a full kitchen. They serve a complimentary breakfast that I'll check out in the morning at 630. The people above me are a bit noisy. Hopefully they'll go to bed soon.

Lovely hotel, spacious rooms, and the ADA compliant room was wonderful. First place I have stayed where the beds were at an appropriate height for a wheelchair user. It makes a huge difference not having to struggle getting into and out of bed.

This Homewood Suites is nice and quiet. The hotel is connected to the Embassy Suites, another Hilton hotel that's a bit more fancy. They share staff and some resources, which isn't a bad thing. There are plenty of carts to move luggage in. The staff offers to explain the amenities so that guests are well informed. Our elevator broke down during our stay and they fixed it within 12 hours. The rooms have a safe in the closet for valuables. There is both an indoor and outdoor pool. They have a workout room. The rooms have full kitchens. There is a shower but no bath tub, fyi. The linens are great and the cleaning staff is excellent and timely. They have the typical free breakfast, and they have a social hour time from 5-7pm during the week where they have free snacks like crackers, cheese, veggies, and 2 free alcoholic drinks for adults. Overall highly recommend this hotel. There are about 7 restaurants next door in a plaza that you can walk to. One downside is it costs 7$ a night for parking.

Im late writing this review, but they are so deserving of a follow-up. I had water damage to my home and had to stay at this location for 23 days. My mom and i had the best time. Who wants to stay in a hotel unless your on vacation. The management team made sure we were taken care of everyday. The general manager would come often and every time we saw him he spoke and made sure we were good. We fell in LOVE with the maintenance/technician guy. Cant remember his name but he was awesome. Any light bulb we needed changed or any help to the room he was there. The ONLY small thing i wish they would change is allowing the guest at homewood suites charge food to their room over at the Embassy. Other than that our stay and treatment was amazing

Nice hotel with extra amenities. Being able to use the workout space and indoor pool at the attached Embassy Suites is a bonus. The staff was very friendly and attentive to requests. They are doing a needed renovation which will update ad improve future experiences. You have to pay for parking which was odd considering the shared parking with the Embassy Suites and the adjacent shopping area. Food was good and the room was clean and decent. The workout facilities were a mix. The Homewood has working equipment and dumbbells. The Embassy bikes were all broken and cable trainer was in poor shape.

Stayed at this hotel about a week ago. Everybody was professional and nice. I liked the room - it a good amount of room and furniture, etc.. From what I could tell the room and hotel was clean. The breakfast was good and there was a good variety of food. They worked with me getting checked in. It is located pretty central to things within the area.
